I was a cheesburger for Halloween, some like to call me, Charlieburger. I had fun walking aimlessly with my parents around my block. I didn't really get the whole concept of walking to the door and asking for candy. I pretty much just walked to the door and then turned around to keep walking. It was still fun.
Then there's Thanksgiving, my Grandpa & Grandpa Peterson came to visit, Aunt Kaitlin and Brett too. We ate turkey and then I took naps, I guess that is what it is truly about. No cheesburgers for this holiday. Then I spend the Friday after Thanksgiving with my Grandma. Everyone left to go to the Husker game, someday I hope I will be able to go. Dad says when I get bigger. I don't think he wants to chase me all over Memorial Stadium and I sure wouldn't just sit on his lap.
Christmas was so much fun! I spent Christmas Eve eve and Christmas Eve day with the Peterson side. I ran around in my Christmas PJs, played with Brett, and of course opened presents. I was so lucky to get books and an animal barn for Christmas. I love them all, especially the books. We spent Christmas eve night with the Pryor side and Christmas day with the Potters side. It is so fun because of all the kids I got to play with. My cousin Rowan was there and some of my second cousins. Christmas morning Santa came and brought me a picnic table, a piano, a mower, and an elephant toy. My Mom even made me a cool stocking that was done on Christmas day! My mom thinks I got way too many presents, but I'm okay with it. I play with all of them, except the ones my mom hid from me. I know she did it because I remember opening them and now I can't find them. Hopefully someday I will get to play with them.
Now for all the things I've learned to do. I can walk, but you already knew that. I can talk, I say things like: DaDa, an-na-na-na (banana), uh-oh, grlll (irl), al' ga (all gone), ock (sock & block), gock (bath), hop-po (hippo). I'm still holding on to Mama...I'm waiting for just the right time to say it. Sorry Mom. Here's me playing with my new mower and Scout. I like to push him around.
Here is another favorite passtime of mine. Hanging out with Mom...we can get so silly. Risky business, anyone?
I really like to stack things...check out all my towers:
I know what a cow says, mmmmmmmooo, a duck says, ack ack, and a monkey, ahh ahh (ooh ooh ahh ahh). I love to dance and spin circles. I am really good at eating! I over hear Laurie, my babysitter, telling my mom that I'm the class clown at lunch. What can I say I love to laugh.
I hope that updates us to this new year. Oh and I've already achieved 2 of my new year resolutions. One, to update my blog more often, and two, I'm binky free. I miss it all the time! I didn't decide my resolution, my Mom did. I still love her, but I really miss my binky.
Until next time,
CharlieP
